Skies and Sunsets

Another shot of the sunset.

Between Wenatchee and Mission Ridge, Washington, this very small resevour was made impressive more by the sky that day than anything else.

Reece and I came home to our apartment and I raced up to get the camera so I could take this shot.

I took this photo while searching for Vivian Lake in Oregon. We never found the lake because the snow was still deep when we went in May, and we lost the trail. It was a gorgeous hike anyway.

Ruby Beach is in Olympic National Park in Washington. Reece and I ditched the Hoh Rainforest that evening for the coast, and were greeted with bright skies and towering rocks.

Smoke from the 2007 fire season covers most of Western Montana.

It was a beautiful fall day, and the mountains called to us. From Hawk Rock one can see Springfield, Eugene, Lowell, and Jasper Oregon, as well as Diamond Peak, the Willamette River, and surrounding foothills.
